Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association Holds Endurance, Its Fall Fundraiser | South of Lake Tahoe

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association (TAMBA) is hosting its fall fundraiser on Sunday, September 25 at the Nevada State 4-H Camp at Stateline from 4-8 p.m.

“We invite everyone who enjoys hiking and biking in the Basin to celebrate our accomplishments and get a glimpse of what the future holds for trails in the Basin,” said David Orr, board member of the Basin. TAMBA.

“This year’s fundraising is focused on building a sustainable organization. To do this, we are raising funds specifically to purchase a truck, a line of more capable trail-building tools, and to provide office and warehouse space for TAMBA’s growing organization,” said Executive Director Drew Bray.

This family catered event is TAMBA’s largest fundraising event for the organization. Tickets can be bought hereat $60 for adults and $30 for children 12 and under, and includes a TAMBA pint glass, food, beer, wine, and soft drinks.

Starting at 4 p.m., attendees can learn more about TAMBA’s initiatives, bid on amazing auction items, check out the latest TAMBA gear, enjoy lawn games, and purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win. earn a Specialized Stumpjumper. At 7 p.m., TAMBA will premiere a First Tracks Productions film, “An Everest in Tahoe,” highlighting promising athlete Harrison Biehl’s successful attempt to climb 29,032 feet in less than 24 hours. on the Stanford Rock Trail from the West Rim. .
