As the New Year approaches, expect a new wave of trends to take over the fitness landscape. While home workouts are here to stay, the whole approach to wellness has changed: People not only focus on how they train, but why. And, as technology continues to evolve, many are starting to take a more scientific approach to their health, ditching models of rapid fitness for holistic methodologies that deliver benefits that go beyond physical strength.

Bustle spoke to some of the industry’s top experts for their predictions on the biggest fitness trends of 2022 that will transform the way you sweat.

1. Body-mind fitness

The mind-body training experience will be a major trend over the next year, says Steven Beltrani, president of Tracy Anderson.
